The second largest island in the Elaphite group, Lopud will delight you with its rich vegetation, mild mediterranean climate and two splendid sandy beaches. With the exception of some bikes, there is no traffic. The only inhabited part is a small picturesque town Lopud, situated at the western side of the island. Two 16 century castles give the place a picturesque air, one on the narrow peninsula to the west of the town (known as the English castle) and the other on the hill to the east (known as the Spanish castle).

Option3: Excursion 3: Kolocep Island - paddling just along the shore - transfers by rubber speedboat. Departure: 09.00. Return: approx. 14.00. Paddling distance: 11 km. Price per person: 365 kuna (approx. 50 euro).
The price includes: transfers by van, transfers by boat to and from the island, sea kayaks with equipment, sea kayaking guide service, light lunch in local restaurant, bottle of water. Until a few centuries ago, the inhabitants of Kolocep were the most renowned coral divers of the Mediterranean, though today only a few go down for the coral, out of pure love. A sign of the antiquity of habitation is here, going back to ancient times. Koloceps history can be found in the many monuments, among which a special place is taken by the remains of sarcophagi, stone sculptures, chapels and churches. The main attraction on this island is the Blue Cave. Crystal clear water and reflection of sunrays make this place unique on Mediterranean. Once you see it, you never forget it.
