Discover Snorkelling - An introduction to the underwater world suitable for those who do not wish to scuba dive. The programme involves a comprehensive briefing by a PADI Instructor, including knowledge of the environment, correct water entries, breathing control, diving procedures and an explanation of the necessary equipment. This is followed by an open water snorkelling safari lead by your instructor. Maximum 2 hours duration; minimum age 8 years. Lm17.50.

Discover Scuba Diving Course - The ideal ½-day introduction to scuba diving for the holidaymaker. A short knowledge session in our classroom to acquaint you with the underwater environment, followed by a swimming pool training session where you will learn basic scuba diving skills ensuring your total comfort and control. This is followed by a short trip in our dive vehicle or speedboat to your first sea dive in shallow water for pleasure, experience & fun. Upon completion of this course you are able to participate in further dives with AquaVenture during your stay on Malta. Lm35.00.

Open Water Diver Course - A 4-day programme. Full certification course enabling you to obtain your first qualification as a scuba diver. Course consists of basic theory, followed by confined water training in our private pool, and a minimum of four open water sea dives, all providing you with the necessary knowledge and skills for total confidence in the underwater environment. Advanced Open Water Diver Course - A 3-day programme consisting of 5 open water training dives in the following combination - 1 Navigation and 1 Deep, known as 'core' dives; plus 3 elective dives from a selection of 9 speciality choices on which your Instructor will advise. The Advanced training is vital to the success of any PADI Continuing Education programme. Lm89.00*.

* Does not include certification fee of Lm10.00 Minimum age for diving in Malta is 12 years. A standard medical questionnaire must be completed before diving. Should a sport dive medical be required this is available from AquaVenture's own Doctor at the dive centre at a cost of Lm5.50. Please note that Diabetes/Asthma may prevent you from diving on Malta.
